Pitching Coach Bill Fields has been with the Seminole State Raiders for more than a decade, bringing superior knowledge of the mechanics of the game, patience for developing players and a commendable work ethic to the Seminole State College Softball Program.

Fields’ coaching experience includes women’s softball and volleyball at the high school level in Miami. As an assistant head softball coach at Miami Sunset from 1986-95, Fields worked with the pitchers, hitters and outfielders. During that time, Sunset won four district championships and was the Class 5A state runner-up.

From 1989-97, Fields served as the JV head coach and varsity assistant coach for the highly successful Sunset volleyball team. During his tenure, Sunset won two volleyball state championships and made four appearances in the final four.

Fields also has served as vice president of the South Florida Volleyball Club and has experience coaching 14 and under teams. He currently resides in Deltona.
